Rockberger won a Full Tuition Scholarship to attend Boston's world-renowned Berklee College of Music at the tender age of 16. There he won 'every formal accolade they could hand him' (Phil DiPietro - 'All About Jazz') including the 'Quincy Jones Award', widely considered to be the college's most prestigious prize, given to an 'Outstanding Writer' by the college's Writing Division.
