Brian Bates is the guitar hero of 3rd floor Hume East in Gainesville, FL!



Brian Bates began his music career in the sixth grade when he released his first single, "Billy's Mom," for a small group of people, who in turn spread word of the song like wildfire. Bates quickly was signed on for a video for the single by music video director and good friend Tyler Raszick. The single continued to increase in popularity for six years, spreading across the states and to people Brian didn't actually know. In 2006, Brian re-surfaced as a talented singer-songwriter in Gainesville, Florida, where he attends the University of Florida. Using his simple acoustic guitar and the GuitarPro program on his laptop computer, Brian Bates covers hundreds of classic, rock, and indie songs, as well as developing many of his own. He is also straight and available for loving, ladies. His future plans potentially include forming a band, while maintaining his solo project with Raszick, who has picked up the bass, and also attends UF. Raszick also wrote this Wiki.
