With fiery red hair, genre blending sounds, and the grace of a ballerina overtaken by dance music, Missy is showing the world that she is certainly not a one-dimensional pop artist. Raised in New York City, she has been influenced by the melting pot she has grown up in. Missy writes music about relationships and self-worth: she says, "I don't take myself too seriously and I want my music to make others feel the same. Be silly.
