There are multiple artists with this name MC²:

(1) MC² - or sometimes typeset as MCsq for the purposes of style and font - is Sam Williams, currently based between Christchurch, New Zealand and Yosemite, California, but originally hailing from Wales, UK.

MC² started in a Swansea student bedroom in 2005-2006 after an in-house competition between housemates to create an originally crafted hip-hop track using the same software and samples. But rather than creating a hip-hop track, Williams set about breaking down samples to mix into the program to make a track with a more chilled out vibe. Although not an actual MC, Williams whimsically chose his moniker based on the fact that he was studying maths at the time.

Although he has no formal music training, MC² has a bright future as far as his friends are concerned. Becoming the newest, and most long-awaited artist to join the roster at Hand & Face Records. Keep checking back for more music as and when it comes.

(3) Born in Phoenix, Arizona as Michael Claisse, MC² moved to Isle of Palms, South Carolina when he was two. At age nine he relocated to Mount Pleasant, SC.
