Re∞AnimA is an active Japanese band that initally formed as a visual kei band that was part of the menhera kei subgenre. The band formed in 2016 and consists of vocalist Kashiwa (柏), bassist SiA, and drummer Kazuya. Former guitarist Yuki (雪) was a member until his departure in 2018. The band's concept is "The circle of transmigration."
Re∞AnimA began as a session band called TRIPLE G (トリプルG) in late 2016, later becoming an official band under the name Hentai Shuudan AnimA (変態集団AnimA). In December 2016, they released their single THE INFERNO, along with a DVD for the music video Gokuraku Chou (極楽蝶) and the demo INNOCENT (イノセント). On March 18, 2017, they released the single DEAD MONEY with an accompanying DVD. This was followed by their first mini-album, Letter, on May 22, 2017, which featured four tracks.
In January 2018, the band released the single Komoriuta (子守唄). On July 11, 2018, guitarist Yuki left the band after a performance at Ikebukuro BlackHole. Following his departure, the band continued to perform, including a show at Shinjuku HOLIDAY SHINJUKU on August 1, 2018, and at Urawa Narciss on October 7, 2018, where they announced their disbandment and the end of Hentai Shuudan AnimA.
On December 15, 2019, the band "reincarnated" under the new name Re∞AnimA. They released the single -sanagi- on December 24, 2019, followed by the release of the music video for Gashi in April 2020. Around May 2021, the band founded their own record label, Mugen Records, and transitioned away from the visual kei style to become a non-visual act. Their full album -Re∞AnimA- was released on July 22, 2021.
Re∞AnimA held their first one-man live performance -All of Re∞AnimA- at Tokyo Galapagos Studio on February 6, 2022.
