Amsterdam born Max Vermeulen is twenty years old and is known as an original artist and producer. Passionate and fascinated by music from an early age. His music is mainly limited at the genres of Dance & Electronic Pop and known from its original melodic sound. As a child Max Vermeulen could already be found behind a keyboard & behind the decks of his first DJ set. He entered a Dutch DJ contest called: ‘Dubbelfris’ for young talented DJ’s when he was 15 years old and with success! Max won the contest. From then on, he got a contract for his first residency on a big event called ‘FRIS’. He played alongside famous Dutch HipHop artists. From then on Max’s gets booked for his first shows in the Netherlands. In 2015 he also started making his own music in FL Studio. At the same time, he was still on High School. By watching YouTube video’s and working with other producers Max’s was learning step by step how to produce music. He was already busy with developing his own sound and his first track was born: a remix of ‘Lean On by Major Lazer’. The Remix got support from well-known producers The Him. After the remix Max’s made his first original song called ‘Sunset’. This track gets played by a lot of DJ’s and radio stations. After the success of Sunset it was time for a new chapter. Max’s worked really hard on his style and sound. Then he came with the track ‘Birds’ together with Ulysee M. This track was a breakthrough for Max’s career. The track got a lot of attention by upcoming DJ’s and Producers and also got supported by Sam Feldt, Thomas Hayden, Mesto and many more. With more than 200.000 streams online Max’s first SoundCloud hit was born.

In 2016 everything was getting bigger. He made a remix of famous Dutch hip hop artists ‘Lil Kleine’ & ‘Ronnie Flex’. This remix got a lot of club support in the Netherlands. After that he got attention from jewellery brand ‘Buddha To Buddha’ and he gets invited for a special event to play a back to back set with famous Dutch DJ La Fuente. Next up, he played at TT Festival in Assen and released a Remix of Cold Water by ‘Major Lazer & Justin Bieber’ together with Just Hide It. It was definitely a hit on SoundCloud with more than 1.200.000 streams and earned also huge club support all over the world.

He also released his track ‘Hold Me Down’ together with Tyson & King which earned huge support of a German social influencer on YouTube. This track received also more than 500k online streams on all streaming platforms. In the same year Max started playing residencies at TGIF, Onbezonnen, Hockey Events and Speakerz all around the Netherlands. Artists like Martin Garrix, Mike Williams, Justin Mylo, Mesto started playing their first gigs on these events. From now on Max gets booked on a lot of events and clubs around the Netherlands and Europe every weekend. Clubs like Melkweg, Escape, NYX, Club ABE, Luxor Live, P60, P3, Lichtfabriek, Vorstin, Hedon, Mezz, Paard van Troje, The Temple and many more. In summary all the big clubs & venues in the Netherlands. After 4 bootlegs & 3 originals with more than 2.000.000 million plays on Soundcloud and other platforms.

In 2017 Max started at the prestigious Herman Brood Academy (same school as Martin Garrix & Julian Jordan) for a three-year DJ & Producer Course. He will finish his course in March/April 2020. He also released his YouTube series: 6 Hours with Max Vermeulen. It takes you behind the scene on tour, the studio where he makes his own music and shows his personal life. In the same month he started releasing his own track as an independent artist on his own label. He released his first solo track ‘Get Away’ with Seattle-based singer Edgar Sandoval Jr. This track is well received in 2017 and is a banger with more than 450k streams on Spotify, Apple Music and other channels. Beside the original track he also released a progressive remix of ‘Something Just Like This’ by Coldplay & The Chainsmokers and received again huge club support. In 2017 he also signed a MGMT deal with BD Entertainment. They represent artists like Mesto & Justin Mylo. In October 2017 Max made his debut during Amsterdam Dance Event as well. In this year his shows were still rising to bigger venue’s. He did more than 65+ shows in 2017. With a special gig during New Year’s Eve at Dromenland Festival.



In 2018 Max took some serious steps by playing at We Are The Future in AFAS LIVE Amsterdam for 5000 people alongside Lucas & Steve, Curbi and Wildstylez. During the summer he played at several festivals in the Netherlands and a tour in Spain. His gigs at Vogelvrij Festival & Club NL Mallorca were shows for in the books. Music-wise Max had some very good releases (1.000.000+ Streams) in 2018 on his own label. By name his remix of ‘The Middle by ZEDD’, his remix of ‘Youngblood by 5SOS’ and of course his original tracks ‘Summergirl’ & ‘Crazy Love’. Max’s Music got supported by various artists including Brooks, Justin Mylo, Showtek, Mesto, The Him and Sam Feldt and many more. His music got also played on big radio stations like SLAM FM! And NPO Radio 1.



2019 was a year of developing himself musically and show-wise. Max has built a studio complex where he can now work 24/7 on his new music. He released his remix of I´m So Tired by LAUV & Troye Sivan. This remix received a lot of great feedback because of its originality. A lot of big music labels were interested in his music, but he decided to stay independent as an artist. In September he decided to sign a recorddeal with Be Yourself Music for 4 songs which are getting released in 2020. Names like Bakermat, Basto, D-Wayne, LNY TNZ, Brennan Heart, Head Hunterz & R3HAB released their music on this label. He can’t wait to share all his new tracks with his fans. Show-wise Max played again all around the Netherlands, at the Mainstage of Vogelvrij Festival, during Amsterdam Dance Event. In November Max did his first China Run in Shanghai. With more than 2.700.000+ NetEase streams on his music, it was time to play in China. He did a show on the International Circuit of Shanghai during the well-known race competition ‘WEC’ and he played a show at Street Noise Club. In December Max played his first China tour in the biggest clubs of China with a lot of unreleased new music. On January 1st of 2020 he made his debut on the Mainstage of ISY Music Festival on the tropical island of Hainan, Sanya alongside the biggest names in the industry like no.1 DJ’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake & many more.
