Get On Your Feet Lyrics

Oh, to tell the truth,
I'm a bit of a wreck
Thinkin' about those hands
Around the back of my neck

And, to say what I feel,
I miss what we were
So unbreakable
Back when we were invincible.

Get up on your feet
I'll take it to the floor
Oh, here we go
You're all I want and more.

Grab yourself a seat
Imagine what's in store
Oh, here we go
You're all I want and more.

Still got your picture by my bed
I found the perfect frame and place
To fall asleep, late at night
And wake up to your face

But over time it'll have to go
And even later be replaced.
I guess part of growing up is learning
Nothing that's golden ever stays

Get up on your feet
I'll take it to the floor
Oh, here we go
You're all I want and more.

Grab yourself a seat
And imagine what's in store
Oh, here we go
You're all I want and more...

And every time I hear you it's still
Such a calming sound
I see you and I feel as if
I've lifted off the ground
I wake up every morning
Wishing all my dreams were real
Just promise, girl you'll speak your mind
And follow what you feel.

Get on your feet
I'll take it to the floor
Oh, here we go
You're all I want and more.

Grab yourself a seat
And imagine what's in store
Oh, here we go
You're all I want and more.

Show Me the Skyline is the name of an indie rock/power pop project by American singer-songwriter Larzz Principato. (The name is derived from a lyric in an All Time Low song: Sticks, Stones and Techno). Taking influence from contemporary rock and pop punk bands, he's known for his inspired covers and solo work, with several tunes available for free download online. He's also performed under his own name and with other titles.

His bio:

{At 18, Larzz isn’t afraid to shake things up. He’s a singer/songwriter/guitarist and founder of the Pop/Rock solo project Show Me the Skyline that first appeared on the scene in the spring of 2009. Larzz toured throughout the east coast and performed in numerous music festivals including shows for the 2010 Warped Tour. He quickly developed a dedicated fan base and his music is instantly recognized by thousands of fans. Larzz is now taking his career to the next level and will be setting aside the SMTS name to be a self-titled artist.

Larzz’s new EP entitled “Shut Up And Dance” distinctly reflects his growth as a musician and songwriter. He states, “The songs in my new EP aim to be a potent mix of musical styles that combine Pop/Dance influences with Alternative roots and bit of video game-esque synths. To capture the feel of what I was looking for I collaborated with successful songwriter and producer Blake Healy, formerly of the band Metro Station”. And the overall sound is? Boy’s Like Girls meets Metro Station with a dash of Ke$ha chucked into the mix.

Larzz spends a lot of time getting to know his fans, both online and in the real world. “I play music so I can connect with people and all of the social media sites out there make it super easy. Then, when I play live I get to meet the awesome fans that I’ve been talking to online. My fans really inspire me and my goal is to make music that is meaningful to them-that’s our connection.”
