He spent his formative years on the south side of Chicago before relocating to the suburbs at the age of 5 in pursuit of a better life. During his childhood, Sparqz developed a passion for music, particularly drawn to the sounds of artists such as T-Pain, Usher, R. Kelly, and more.

The moniker "Sparqz" originated from a gaming session with a friend, where he was inspired by the idea of igniting excitement and energy. Unable to secure his initial choice of "Spark," he made slight alterations to create the unique identity of "Sparqz."

Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists such as Tana, Rich Amiri, XXXTentacion, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Tyler, The Creator, Sparqz infuses his music with a blend of personal experiences, introspection, and societal commentary. His lyrical content often revolves around themes of self-growth, resilience, and positivity, aimed at inspiring and connecting with listeners, particularly the younger generation.

Sparqz has released several singles and an album titled "Feelings." Among his notable tracks is "Can't Let Go (From The Start)," which has garnered significant attention and streams. Another standout piece is his personal favorite, "Single."
