Roberto Dalla Vecchia, acoustic guitar “flatpicker”, succeeds in bringing together a crystalline technique and solid musical background with delightfully inspired compositions. His three Cds, “Open Spaces”, “Sit Back” e “Grateful” have received international praise and recognition and all make marvelous listening. The tracks range from bluegrass, with superb arrangements of traditional and fiddle tunes, to the moving atmospheres of his own compositions such as “Whispering Grove” and “Maple Leaf” to name two among many others.
