Tastebuds are a 5 piece band from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The band formed in early 2008, jamming in the surrounding of wheelchairs, bath hoists and zimmer frames in an empty nursing home.

Their music has been described as original and contemporary, yet reminiscent of the classic 60’s/70’s music that they have been influenced by over the years through their love for timeless music and late night vinyl sessions.

2009 has been better than ever for Tastebuds with the win of two battle of the bands competitions, a growing interest from fans and industry, plenty of gigs and a positive development in the bands stage show. The live set is rapidly expanding and after six months in the studio and a few jars of coffee 2010 will see the release of their first album
