Go Figure Lyrics

Woah oh, woah oh

Just when you learned the game of life
All the rules change overnight
Woah oh oh, go figure
It seems so wrong to even try
But taking a chance never felt so right
Woah oh oh, go figure

You have a dream
You wanna be
The center of the story
Just when you think it's gone
You find a way to keep it going on

Sometimes you fall before you fly
Sometimes you laugh when you should cry
Go figure
When things got messed up
You wanted to give up
Nothing seemed right, but it turned out fine
Go figure, go figure
Woah oh, woah oh

It's so dangerous to play it safe
You get what you want by giving it away
Woah oh oh, go figure
Go figure
You're trying so hard to be someone else
When all you needed to be was yourself
Woah oh oh, go figure
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Not everything is what it seems
It's never just one meaning
When life starts making sense
Your world is upside down again

Sometimes you fall before you fly
Sometimes you laugh when you should cry
Go figure (go figure)
When things got messed up
You wanted to give up
Nothing seemed right but it turned out fine
Go figure, go figure

Woah oh oh, go figure
Woah woah

Did you really think your destiny
Was a one way street, oh
You gotta be ready for anything
Just set your whole life free, yeah

Sometimes you fall before you fly
Sometimes you laugh when you should cry
Go figure (go figure)
When things got messed up
You wanted to give up
Nothing seemed right but it turned out fine (fine)
Go figure, go figure

Sometimes you fall before you fly
Sometimes you laugh when you should cry
Go figure
When things got messed up
You wanted to give up
Nothing seemed right but it turned out fine (fine)
Yeah, yeah
Go figure, go figure

Woah oh, woah oh go figure
Woah woah, go figure

Everlife may refer to:
1. An American girl group
2. An American funk band
3. A Christian rock band

1. Everlife, a group composed of three sisters (Amber, Sarah, and Julia Ross), began out of the small town of Indiana, Pennsylvania. The three sisters started writing and performing when youngest sister Julia was only eight (now eighteen). With Sarah on the drums, Amber on the guitar, and Julia on keys, Everlife set out to play for anyone that would listen. Very soon, they were playing over 120 shows a year. Their first #1 radio hit, "Lead the Way," first found prominent rotation on Pittsburgh's The Fish.

Members of Everlife relocated to Nashville, Tennessee and were quickly signed to SHELTERecords. The girls worked with prominent producers Kevan Cyka and Dan Needham to produced their self-titled debut project.

After signing with Disney, they contributed singles to several Disney soundtracks. They were eventually dropped from Walt Disney Records in 2007, but continue a strong relationship with Disney. They even opened for Miley Cyrus on the last six dates of her Best of Both Worlds Tour from January 25 in Lafayette, LA to January 31 in Miami, FL.

According to their Official MySpace, they are now signed with 97 Records.

2. A nine-piece funk/soul band from Detroit managed and produced by Jimmy Roach. The members were Dwayne Lomax, Rod Williams, Delores Whyte, Don Whyte, Eddie Taylor, Larry Johnson, Ron Payton, Lloyd Collier, and Leander Sanders. A deal with 20th Century Fox Records fell through and an album hung in limbo. Roach soon released the hard-to-find LP on his Jibaro label and issued a few singles including "Dream Machine" b/w "Have a Good Life" (1981) and a 12" track that did some business entitled "You're My Superhero." Slim sales and the inability to land a deal with a major caused Everlife to disband prematurely.

3. Everlife was a Christian rock band that released one album in 2002, "Son of Man". Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
