Shin Jimin (born January 8, 1991; Hangul: 신지민), better known by her stage name Jimin, is a South Korean idol singer and rapper. She is best known as a leader of the South Korean girl group AOA under FNC Entertainment.

On July 30, 2012, Jimin made her debut as a member of AOA on Mnet's M! Countdown with their debut single album, Angels' Story and the title track "Elvis".

On January 12, 2015 was revealed that Jimin will be part of a variety show called Unpretty Rapstar, a spin-off of the program Show Me The Money. Unpretty Rapstar is a female rappers survival program. The show consists of a single-elimination competition through rap performances. She is also a cast member in the variety show Off to School from 2015.

During Unpretty Rapstar Jimin released a few collaboration singles such as "T4SA" with MC Meta and Nuck. She also released "Good Start" with Seulong which was produced by Verbal Jint and which peaked at two on the Gaon Singles Chart. Her rap battle song "Puss" with rapper Iron during the semifinals was also released, peaking at #1 on real-time chart MelOn and the Gaon Singles Chart. Read more on Last.fm.
