Good Times Lyrics

Pick up a pizza, pineapple ham
And put it in the back of a Good Times van
Well, go out and pick up the rest of the band
We're gonna have a good time

Yeah Lilly of the valley, Lilly on a rug
Lilly drove here in a V W bug
Am I on the guest list, give her a shrug
We're gonna have a good time

Yeah, we gonna be like an ice cream cone
Better eat it quick gonna be long gone
By me a whiskey, get yourself stoned
We're gonna have a good time

Well, sit on a table, sit on the floor
Act like a virgin, act like you're sore
Winner or loser they're both too fine
We're gonna have a good time

When we see you in Atlanta or Abilene
The prettiest girls that I've ever seen
Be sweet as honey girl don't be mean
We're gonna have a good time

Yeah, we gonna be like an ice cream cone
Better eat it quick gonna be long gone
Buy me a whiskey, get yourself stoned
We're gonna have a good time

Well, a lot of people talk can shut the hell up
Sneak out a beer in a styrofoam cup
I'm gonna start singing so don't interrupt
We're gonna have a good time

Well, live in the country, live in the town
Come out tonight gonna burn them all down
Don't let the bastards get yourself down
We're gonna have a good time

Yeah, we gonna be like an ice cream cone
Better eat it quick gonna be long gone
Buy me a whiskey get yourself stoned
We're gonna have a good time
I said, buy me a whiskey, get yourself stoned
We're gonna have a good time, yeah

Charlie Robison (born September 1, 1964, Houston, Texas) is an American singer/songwriter, who was raised in Bandera, Texas. His brother is singer/songwriter Bruce Robison. His younger sister is singer/songwriter Robyn Ludwick.

Before going solo, Charlie Robison was in the bands Chaparral, Millionaire Playboys, and Two Hoots and a Holler. At one point, Robison was on Warner Brothers, but apparently did not see eye to eye about his musical career there and left to release some albums on his own. Among his releases was a live disc also featuring brother Bruce Robison and Jack Ingram that was put out by Sony's Lucky Dog label. He then went to Dualtone Records.

Robison was a judge on the first season of the TV singing competition Nashville Star.

He married Emily Erwin of the Dixie Chicks in 1999 (the couple divorced on August 6, 2008). They have three children together: Charles Augustus, called "Gus", born November 11, 2002 and twins Julianna Tex (9:19pm, 6 lb 10 oz) and Henry Benjamin (9:29pm, 6 lb 14 oz), born on April 14, 2005. All three children were conceived via invitro fertilization.
