Goodbye Lyrics

Everyone is busy
Everyone is looking out for number one
A selfish song
I am quite strategic
I am gonna give it my best shot
Its all ive got
But there are days when life means nothing
And there are times that i want to see if i can fly
Or at least try
And there are days when tears beseige me
And times when i could disapear
Goodbye Goodbye
Looking at the long run
Looking to see if i should stay
I feel like im in the way
My palms are getting itchy
Cos when i go to bed, i go to sleep
And that hurts deep
There are days when life means nothing
And there are times that i want to see if i can fly
Or at least try
And there are days when tears beseige me
And times when i could disapear
Goodbye, Goodbye
Why do i feel down
Is it because ive never been high? Why am i a let down? Why would anyone kiss their life goodbye
Goodbye
Everone is busy
Everyone is looking out for number one
A selfish song
I am quite strategic
I am gonna give it my best shot
Its all ive got
But there are days when life means nothing
And there are times that i want to see if i can fly
Or at least try
And there are days when tears beseige me
And times when i could disapear
Good bye Goodbye

Hailing from County Derry, Ireland, alt-rockers Scheer comprised Audrey Gallagher (vocals), Neal Calderwood (lead guitar), Paddy Leyden (rhythm guitar), Peter Fleming (bass) and Joe Bates (drums). Formed in the early '90s, they issued their first two singles on Dublin label Son, before signing to 4AD and releasing the Schism EP in October 1995. Audrey’s vocals provided a striking counterpoint to her bandmates metallic wall-of-sound, Select magazine describing her as "a cross between Shirley Manson, Björk and some evil spirits".

The quintet's debut album Infliction was released in May 1996, after which they toured America with labelmates Lush and Mojave 3. A second, limited edition Scheer album, 2000's ...And Finally, came out after the band had split up on their own Schism Records imprint.

In the early 2000s, Audrey and Neal briefly worked on a project called Lima. They have now launched a project called aureus. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
