This dutch quintet from Zwolle was founded in Sneek in 2010 during a jam session and consists of singer Vincent Bergsma, drumplayer Mira Burgers, guitarist Vadim Neef, bass player Ilse de Vries and on keyboards Sander Moorlag .
The Cool Quest has been nominated or awarded with regularity. For instance, the band was named ‘Best Soul & Jazz Talent’ by Radio 6 in 2014, as well as ‘Best Group’ and ‘Best Live Act’ at the Radio 6 Soul & Jazz Awards 2015 and nominated for the Frisian Popawards 2015, furthermore, The Cool Quest was named 3FM Serious Talent 2015 and the band won the 2018 Popprijs Overijssel.
