Clive Palmer (1943 - 2014), Mick Bennett and John Bidwell played their psychedelic interpretation of homegrown British rural music prior to the rise of the progressive folk explosion. Clive Palmer was an original member of The Incredible String Band and performed in his own unique style, incorporating traditional European and eastern instrumentation, surreal lyricism and 4 track production techniques. Quintessentially the best of pastoral, occasionally dark British acid folk.
