Simon Thoumire is a British concertina player and composer. He was a member of Scottish folk and traditional music group Seannachie and has recorded as Simon Thoumire & David Milligan. He won the BBC Radio 2 Young Tradition Award in 1989.

Thoumire has performed all over the world. He has made many CDs with musicians including Ian Carr and David Milligan.

He also pursued interests in the industry side of traditional music forming Foot Stompin' Records in 1997, Scottish Traditional Music Trust (in 2000) and Hands Up for Trad (in 2003). He spends time working with Hands Up for Trad who organise the Scots Trad Music Awards, BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician Award, Scotland Sings and many other projects designed to promote Scottish music.
