Shamshir is an Iranian one-man band from Iran. "Shamshir" in Persian means "Sword".

Shamshir's songs deal with the mythological world of Ferdowsi, the great Iranian epic poet, whose famous book is Shahname.

Shamshir's album was recorded in 2003, but not released until 2009, and is available for free download.
