Growing up in a musical family, Jess has been performing from a very young age. Her initial involvement was in amateur theatre and opera at Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music where she also underwent classical vocal training to Level 6 AMEB. In this time Jess was also involved in many bands and vocal ensembles, which took her to perform at the Opera House and the Entertainment Centre, and gave her exposure to a broad range of musical styles including jazz, black gospel, rock, country and opera.

For the last five years, Jess has been working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Melbourne, where she has developed a passion for leading worship and music ministry. Her gifts have been used in many churches Australia-wide and abroad in places such as Nepal, Singapore, China and Russia.
