Contrapunk is an Indonesian group formed by Adji Bandi (viola, piano, lyre, vocals), Tono Suparto (bass guitar), Pungky Moektio (keyboards), Aris (lead guitar) and Jessy (drums). They called their music "bach-rock", or music blending classical influences into rock.

The group started to record their first album, Putri Mohon Diri (Princess, Please Yourself), on 1976. During the recording, Pungky Moektio resigned and Yockie Suryoprayogo joined as a guest player; moreover, Nano (flute) also joined the band. The group has also been supported by Titiek Puspa and Grace Simon as guest vocalists.

The title track of the album finished at the second place in Festival Lagu Populer Indonesia (Indonesian Popular Song Festival) in 1976. Though promising, the band disbanded soon after that.
