David Bernardi is one of Scotland’s rising stars on the DJ circuit. His productions so far have gained the support of Paul Oakenfold, Sander Klienenberg, Paul Van Dyk, Roger Sanchez, Fonzerelli, Jorge Jamellio, Flash Brothers, Eric Morillo, Dubfire, John Jones and David Dunne to name but a few.
In 2008 David began working with an array of well established singer/songwriters the first being Nicole Tyler (Ministry of Sound, Houseworks, Universal), their track “Lost Soul”, was signed up by Ronnie Maze, boss of top house label Neurotic Groove, the track has recently been an inclusion on Neurotic Groove’s Essentials Volume 1 Compilation, Open Bar Music’s Ibiza 7 Compilation and has a scheduled full release for early 2009.
In May 2008 David was commissioned to remix for Sleek Physique member Colin Waterson (Oxyd/Universal) to remix their smash hit “I Love Linda”, the remix has received huge support on Radio Beach, Argentina, being “The most recommended track of the weekend”, No.1 on Ted Nilsson’s Miss Moneypenny’s Radio Hotmix August 2008, as well as reaching Number 6 In the dj download new releases Top 100 House Chart.
David’s recent projects have had him continuing to work with some of the biggest names in the industry including remixing Big World – Denis the Menace & Lenny Fontana’s forthcoming project “Dream of Life”, as well as a number of original projects, the first being a collaboration with singer/songwriter Sophia May (Nervous, Oxyd, Vendetta), their project “Heartbeat” which is to be released early summer 2009 on Dutch imprint Cloud 9 Music BV and sub label 3345 Recordings worldwide.
Most recently David was asked to remix Shena’s BBC Radio 2 play listed Nu-Disco delight ‘Can’t Stop the Rain” the first single from her new album, which is set to hit the dance floors in months to come, as well as his next single a collaboration with Soul singer/songwriter Simone Denny (Rising Music).
