Heave Lyrics

And you try
And you try
To get the fuck up

Listen to me
If you're scared drop to the floor
Try to think about something
Need a change 'cause everyone looks the same

Only one of us can remain
I'm not changin', no, never for you
Some people look good on their knees
But you look the best

And you try
And you try
To get the fuck up

Needed something to pass the time
Never wanted to cross the line
One step changes everything
Then everything blows

Everyone listen to me
Everyone drop to the floor
Try to think about nothing
Need a change because everything is the same

Only one chance to offend
And I'm doin' it and I'm doin' it well
Some people look good on their knees
But you look the best

And you try
You try
To get the fuck up

Needed something to pass the time
Never wanted to cross the line
One step changes everything
Then everything blows

Needed something to pass the time
Never wanted to cross the line
One step changes everything

Needed something to pass the time
Never wanted to cross the line
One step changes everything
Everything blows

Needed something to pass the time
Never wanted to cross the line
One step changes everything

Needed something to pass the time
Never wanted to cross the line
One step changes everything
Everything blows

Needed something to pass the time
Never wanted to cross the line
One step changes everything

1.Lifer was a five piece nu metal band originating from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania from 1999 until 2001. The band was originally called Strangers With Candy, and consisted of vocalist Nick Coyle, guitarist Aaron Fink, bassist Mark Klepaski, drummer Chris Lightcap and turntabler Tony Kruszka. During their active years, they were signed to Universal Records -- a record deal they secured after a winning performance on an MTV show called "MTV's Ultimate Cover Band Contest" in 2000. Under this label they released a self-titled album in 2001. After their first and only CD, the group disbanded later in 2001. Aaron Fink and fellow band member Mark Klepaski went on and joined the now popular alternative metal group Breaking Benjamin.

2.90's UK newschool hardcore band. not to be confused with nu metal one.

3."...heavy as fuck and edgy as Hell, spiked with an acute social commentary. Lifer have taken the choicest cuts of old school thrash and fused them to the low, grimy groove of Down…..with devastating effect." Dirty southern metal from South Wales, Uk. Read more on Last.fm.
