Marcus DuShéa Henderson son of Marshalla Terry, and Louis Henderson, was born in Gary, Indiana, and lived there for the first three years of his life. He moved to Minnesota with his mother but would spend summers in Indiana with his Father. Marcus, also known as Flyboy, Ophishal Flyboy and later Fly Henderson would replay every song he heard on the radio until he knew the entire song word for word. His personal favorite was Jay-Z‘s hit “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It to Me)”. He had a passion for music.
Marcus father passed away on his birthday in a car accident. The death of his father changed his life. Everything seemed to go down hill, school, grades and happiness. The love of his family and friends was able to help him deal with the loss of his father but his love for his dad and his anger over losing his dad gave his the drive to start writing and rapping his Music. Music allowed him to express himself and started the healing process. He gave 100% of himself to his dream of becoming an rap artist. He has 2 albums / Forever Ain't Enough and Dream Catcher as well as a mix tape Cupids Last Shot. He loved his music, family and friends.
Fly loved to have fun and travel and experience new things. He had a love for swimming. While on vacation July 21st 2012 in Seattle Washington he went for a swim at a lake and unfortunately he drowned. His music is hear to remind us of his talent and his struggles.
