Tony "Rebel" Bailey was born in St. Vincent but moved to Barbados as a youth with his family. He always had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar. Tony Bailey began playing guitar as a child, inspired by a Pastor in his church. Tony has concentrated ever since on playing and sometimes teaching others to play the Guitar. He has also done some musical arranging on some of his compositions.

One day while playing his guitar on a street corner, Michael Agard pass by and was impress by Tony's talent. Michael Agard, Tony Bailey, Felix Forde and Edwin Yearwood eventually founded a band playing covers in the hotel circuit in Barbados, that later became Crossfire, and later respelt Krosfyah.... KROSFYAH IS NOW THE BIGGEST SOCA BAND IN BARBADOS, 20 YEARS LATER., with alot of hits and Barbados Music Awards for the "Band of the Year" 2006, 2007 and 2008 behind it's name. Tony Bailey is one of the founders of the talented touring band that helped place Barbados on the map.

Tony went on to cast the image of the band members with his dreadlocks, baggy jeans and bandanas. An astonishingly, self accomplished guitar playing/composer and vocalist, Tony Bailey, sometimes bring his fans in a place to remembering players like Jimi Hendrix and some even said Lonnie Mack, he has developed a uniquely eclectic and fire-charged style that creeps out at you, forcing his audiences to pay attention.

Tony has been traveling/performing with Krosfyah throughout Europe, Caribbean and the United States for eighteen plus (18+) years. Tony Bailey is the band's lead Guitarist.

A man of immeasurable talent, Bailey, affectionately called "Rebel", by his band members and others, has provided his band members with many compositions for their recorded/published productions and continues to do so.

Rebel is so full of character and personality that he can be described as intense. His musical background is in hard rock and the blues.

Tony Bailey's has a debut album, Unheard Message, released in the summer of 2002, featuring hits like Waiting on Love, Making Love and Cell Block 3. This album is earning Tony Bailey quite a bit of recognition/attention, receiving positive reviews in all publications.

He went on to win Best Ragga Soca Single (Male) for his song "Sweetest Thing" at the Barbados Music Awards in 2006.

Tony has founded a Reggae band "Zion Trybe" that performs on Sundays in the Reggae Lounge, St. Lawrence Gap. Zion Trybe is his side project....... a tribute band to the great Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. Excellent band with talented members and backing vocals by Lisa Howell who does a fantastic job with Rita Marley's "One Draw" and Wynelle who does an excellent job with Etana's "I Am Not Afraid". Tony displays his vocals and guitar skills to the maximum on Sunday nights. Check it out.
