Sandy Cressman is a great Brazilian Bossa Nova vocalist in the same mode as Astrud Gilberto. If you are fond of the Antonio Carlos Jobim compositions and bossa nova music that comes out of Brazil, you will also enjoy Sandy Cressman, even though she does not have a very "Brazillian" sounding name! I know the pianist on much of her work, and he is a killer musician - you will also be very impressed with the sound quality, instrumentation, arrangements and solos you hear as well as the vocals.
