Robert Earl Reed (May 20, 1965 – October 5, 2013) was an emerging artist of the Americana music genre. Hailing from LIttle Rock, Arkansas he lived and created his unique brand of Americana music in the North Mississippi Hill Country. Reed's music may be described as rough hewn Southern Gothic Americana. Dan Weir of The Lightning Round Blog on Reed's Music:

Reed's debut Album "Carlene" was released in January of 2011. His music is also featured prominently in the upcoming Independent Film "Where I Begin" by Thomas Phillips and Melanie Addington.
