1. Brio is a musician from Suriname that plays modern Kaseko music.

2.Jackson and Nash went to high school back in the day, though of course then Jackson had a head of rapidly-thinning hair. Nonetheless, Jackson could certainly tickle the ivories, and the two of them produced such hits as "Iglioramus" for the children of the greater Asheville/Brevard area. Years later, Nash moved into Hinton James where he would spend most of his afternoons strumming a beat-up guitar named Buckwheat. One day he met a blond-headed lad from Elkin who claimed to play guitar. Though Nash doubted such claims, he took the possibility of making music into consideration, though albeit moving such a notion to the back burner. At about this same time Nash ran into a jovial type who played classical piano and professed his love for a solid beat to rhyme over, hiding all this time that he was an ace on the drums. One summer a few years later, Nash was taking a course on Spanish conversation when he met a man from Wilmington who loved the Beatles and spoke some Xhosa on the side. They entertained the idea of starting a band, though nothing would come of it for a year or so. All this time the blond-headed one continued to diligently practice his six string and pester Nash to help him start a band with the intention of rocking faces. One day, as the Tar Heels somehow lost to Georgetown, Thomas, the closet drummer, picked up a pair of sticks that belonged to Habib from Mowgli and banged out some heavy beats to sooth his frustrations from the ball game. Nash heard these beats, picked up his guitar, and they played together for quite some time that sad afternoon. Some months later, Ian's pestering finally got to Nash and in the early summer of 07, Nash, Ian and Thomas began to practice some covers and originals. Jackson had promised them he would join them on keys at the end of the summer, but the issue of finding a bassist lingered. One fated night at He's Not, the three of them ran into Brendan, the Beatles-smitten man from Wilmington, who agreed to pick up a bass and join the cause. The four of them recorded a demo that summer thanks to the crucial efforts of Dan the Man from Delorean. The boys from 9 P.M. Traffic also graciously allowed the boys to play songs at open mike night at Ham's which proved critical in their musical development. Somehow, Jackson did return from Asheville at the end of the summer and with a full head of healthy hair as well. The band was now set, and "they" became "we," somewhere along the way. We've been rocking faces and shaking booties ever since. And that's our story, up till now.
