S.Kalibre is a veteran of the UK Hip Hop scene and pioneer of the Medway scene, he first started rhyming at an early age when he was a child after listening to Ice T, N.W.A. and Public Enemy. Saab Singh Sandhu (born November 28th) better known by his stage name S.Kalibre, is a British rapper from the South East in England. He is also known for being part of hip hop groups Hard Livin and U.T.I. - S.Kalibre is also founder of Pride Vibes Entertainment an independent record label run alongside with his producer Slap Up Mill. In 2003 S.Kalibre released his debut single 'Oh Girl' with Sin Nombre label under Hard Livin. The single saw success and was aired on Channel U, MTV Base, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1xtra and XFM. S.Kalibre released his first mixtape 'The High Kalibre mixtape' on his Hard Livin imprint after leaving Sin Nombre. The mixtape featured the finest from the U.K hip hop scene. He then went on to founding Pride Vibes Entertainment with long time comrade Slap Up Mill and started releasing singles, E.P's and studio albums under their new label. S.Kalibre went on to building a devoted fan base due to their underground projects like SK Ultra, Love Songs E.P with producer Slap Up Mill, Soul Kalibre E.P with Norweigen producer Soul Theory and The Continuance E.P with producer Architech. S.Kalibre also had success in 2008 for the music he provided for the soundtrack to The Pusher movie. S.Kalibre is one of the authentic pioneering talents on the U.K hip hop scene.
He has also worked with pioneers from the U.K Skinnyman, Blade, Life MC, Kashmere, Genesis Elijah and many more and U.S.A's Q-Unique, Ruste Juxx, Mykill Miers and many more. The British rapper who comes from a Sikh heritage has a unique way of combing his thoughts to indulge into his poetry and form a composition blended with conventional hip hop. Before the rap game he had experienced a troubled upbringing which saw him constantly getting in trouble with the law. Hip Hop became an outlet for his frustrations and a release which he calls his therapy. His talents have been noticed by SBTV's CEO Jamal Edwards and was asked to feature on Skooledby on SBTV and also BBC Radio's Charlie Sloth who has aired his songs.
