Watanabe Keiko (渡辺桂子), born November 9, 1966, in Ikuno-ku, Osaka, Japan, is a former Japanese idol singer and actress who rose to fame in the 1980s. Debuting in 1984 with the hit single "H-i-r-o-s-h-i" (peaking at 25 on Oricon, selling 59,000 copies), she released seven singles and three studio albums, earning multiple newcomer awards. Keiko starred in the 1985 TBS drama "Chikyoudai (乳姉妹)" as Matsumoto Shinobu and appeared as a guest in "Aoi Hitomi no Sei Life" (1984). After a brief retirement in 1986 following marriage and a move to the USA, she returned in 1987 with a mature image, later retiring to focus on family. Read more on Last.fm.
