The Gentle Waves was Isobel Campbell's side project to Belle and Sebastian, featuring her own vocals, which initially began in 1998 in Glasgow, Scotland. Campbell has since released a solo album, Amorino, under her own name after releasing her second album, Swansong For You in 2000.
