The Short Straw Pickers are an Americana, Newgrass type band.. They are all from South Florida and range in age from 23-38. They sound like one part Del McCoury, one part Neil Young, and one part Bob Dylan.
The various members have played for some pretty nice festivals, like the Telluride Blues, Jazz Fest, and Magnolia Fest to name a few. Look for them on the East coast late summer, early Autumn.
