Future Self is an entity that comes from the creative mind of Will Mitchell in addition to the constantly evolving appendages of Shim Gartner, Jaron Pearlman, Kevin Goldstein, and Benjamin Ryan Williams. Drawing from influences such as Regina Spektor, Queen, The National, The Allman Brothers, and Arcade Fire, Future Self has become an opaque experiment in pop music, releasing two well-received EPs, "Debt to a Muse" and "The First Storm." Their latest album, "Frozen," shows a band going boldly where few bands dare; straight into a new ice age to find the eye of the storm.
