Home (feat. Ben Alessi) Lyrics

Call home tell em that Im doin just fine
Wrap me up and take me on a magical ride
I spend all day waiting by your side
On another trip to soak up whats been mine
All this time.

Thought I saw ya
In the corner
Sippin on the bottle with the cold shoulder
Now I see ya
Its getting better
Getting better

The pain is heavier
With the better weather
And I'm wishing we could just be alone
When youre gone
Moving on
This shit just aint the same on the phone

And I wonder
I really wanna
See the way you see me
But we get a little bit drunk
Speakin too much
Screaming like you gave a fuck
Tough luck baby
This is growing up

Call home tell em that we made it this far
Remember when they said the world couldn't be ours
I know we can make it outta here just fine
On another trip to soak up whats been mine
All this time.

Thought I saw ya
In the corner
Sippin on the bottle with the cold shoulder
Now I see ya
Its getting better
Getting better

Introducing Kuren. The 24 y/o indigenous producer hailing from Hillston, NSW Australia. Real name Curtis Kennedy, Kuren’s self-taught skills were cultivated by late night YouTube tutorials. Innumerable hours which saw his early works deliver emotive and engaging electronica that captured the trials of his teenage years spent supporting his family and chasing a dream that seemed so far removed from the red desert sands of his surrounds.

Not content with the label of 'bedroom producer', and on a mission to become a strong asset to the Australian music scene Curtis has honed his craft and reinvented himself as a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter and of recent forms diving into the world of rap and lyricism. All the while developing a powerful live show that he has taken across the country with supporting artists like SLUMBERJACK, Illy, PNAU, Ekali and Alison Wonderland. His debut performance at Splendour In The Grass 2017 was a glimpse of an incredible future - A future that was releasing his debut album Melting Conceptually.

Kuren's perennial evolution as an artist and storyteller is never content with sitting idle, Kuren's debut album saw another glimpse of promise leading to over 4 millions of streams, a national headline tour across Australia and a nomination for 'Album Of The Year for NIMAS 2018.
