Chris Donner is a singer/songwriter from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Initially the singer and guitarist for the Punk/Rock/Roots band "The Lost Numbers", along with longtime friends; John Miller (bass) and Will Proctor (drums), from his hometown of Oro-Medonte.

In the late 1990s and early years of the new millennium, he relocated to the nation's capital, Ottawa. There he would perform solo as "Chris Donner, Playing with Himself". Later he played in "The David Hasselhoff Experience" with Corey Cutting on drums. Experimenting with electronic music via the computer, he recorded under the pseudonym of "Screaming @ Trees".

Departing Ottawa for the Niagara region, he recorded various "full band" compositions. Most notably were the bizarre instrumental/cover-songs collection completed under the moniker of "Parallel Universe Band".
