Zach Smith (born in 1988), better known by his stage name DJ R3DLINE, is an American DJ & producer living in Chicago, IL.

Smith created the DJ RedLine name in 2008, after relocating to Chicago from Cleveland, OH. After a few years of operation under the "RedLine" moniker, he decided it was time to rebrand himself as "R3DLINE". In early 2014, the new logo & naming convention was released. The name nods towards a number of influences in Smith's life.

He grew up racing motocross, so in racing "red line" insinuates going fast. When you "red line" on a mixing board, the levels are loud. Finally, in Chicago, the public transportation system that was most travelled by Smith was the Red Line on the CTA. So there you go, 'Fast' 'Loud' 'Chicago' sums up the style of music that he is going for.

DJ R3DLINE is a Chicago-based DJ & producer. Aside from being the Big Ten Network's official DJ, he performs everywhere from corporate gatherings to sold-out nightclubs across the country.
