Chris Barton from Ormskirk, Lancashire is a British musical theatre performer who was a contestant on the BBC talent show Any Dream Will Do. Chris was the fifth Joseph to be eliminated. The eventual winner was Lee Mead.

After the show Barton played Benjamin on the UK national tour of joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat and starred in the London cast of Spring Awakening in 2009.

In February 2008, Bill Kenwright launched a pop group, Dream On, made up of Any Dream Will Do contestants: Craig Chalmers, Lewis Bradley, Chris Barton, Chris Crosby and Antony Hansen.
