Axel F. are an American hip-hop duo consisting of DJ/producer J. Rocc and rapper MED. The duo was formed in 2012, with the project being announced on the 75th episode of the Stones Throw Podcast, which premiered the new music between the two artists. After the release of the Sofa Set EP in 2013, the duo finally released their debut album Theme Music in 2014, featuring guest appearances from Blu, Oh No, Jimetta Rose, Guilty Simpson, Mary Won, TriState, TB, Pok and Strong Arm Steady.
