The Cools formed in October 2003 and have since then been defining their unique Retro Electro Synth Rock style that many say is one of the brightest sounds coming through on the English music scene, twinned with their unique talent of writing tear-jerking ballads and dirty rock n roll which they have showcased on 3 full length albums, Retro Elecrto, Live Fast Die Old and Earth To The Cools. Fronted by Charismatic Maverick McQueen, he and Lead Axeman Testin' form the writing partnership that many have likened to McCArtney and Lennon. Testin's unique nack for writing riffs and solos that get stuck in your head for weeks is bonded with Mavericks love for writing catchy chorus' about anything and everything manly rock n roll, girls and dancing. The Cools are very much a political band having vowed to not play anymore gigs in England if the COnservatives are brought back to power, they have a strong following in America.
