Hurt Lyrics

My day will come, I gave too much
I sold my soul, I'm waiting for my painful
My only one, your dying love
I've seen enough

I tried but, I don't think so
Maybe it was me who was fucking up
I gave all I could give but
It seems like it never really was enough

I feel left out, I don't see how
My whole life can change in one week
I don't mind my own reflection
I don't see how,
You've been let down
Don't speak unless you have to
Why you always seem in a bad mood?
Your whole life you had an attitude
One day, is this so bad for you?

I'm sorry if I hurt you
I'm sorry if it got that bad
I'm sorry I can't help you
Somebody should've had your back

I tried but, I don't think so
Maybe it was me who was fucking up
I gave all I could give but
It seems like it never really was enough

I changed my, whole life when
I learned to, ignore them
I changed my, whole life up
Maybe it was not enough
I don't think I'm allowed to
Make a deal with your selfish ways
They're acting vicious out there
There's lots of demons out here

I'm sorry if I hurt you
I'm sorry if it got that bad
I'm sorry I can't help you
Somebody should've had your back

I tried but, I don't think so
Maybe it was me who was fucking up
I gave all I could give but
It seems like it never really was enough

San Francisco's 10th annual Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival drew a sea of music fans into Golden Gate Park earlier this month for three days of authentic Bay area cuisine, wine tasting and live music from a diverse lineup of top artists. Northern California's own Oliver Tree took the stage on the festival's opening day, Friday August 11th.

Oliver Tree compiled an 11-song setlist for his hometown set at Outside Lands Music festival. He kicked off his set with "Circuits," "Lies," and "Alien Boys." Tree included one of his newest tracks into his set, "Cheapskate," a collaboration with Berlin-based producer and composer Robot Koch. Oliver Tree wrapped up his Outside Lands festival performance with "When I'm Down."

The Santa Cruz native is known for his wide-ranging creativity. Even by looking at his social media pages it's apparent that Oliver Tree's 'brand' is composed of equal elements art, humor, and originality. As as a vocalist, producer, and creative director of all of his audiovisual projects, Tree's unique style also translates to his ensemble. Setlist.fm photographer Chris Tuite caught up with Oliver Tree in the midst of all the music festival chaos for some quick portraits.
