DieDra is a soul/blues act from Alabama, USA.

DieDra's career began in 2008, after her debut Album "Overcoming Hurdles" was released. The single "Hip Swing'in Blues" topped the charts at #4 for 9 months, in Beach Music.

Her husband, producer and adviser, Keithen Ruff decided she needed a band. In 2009, DieDra and the band entered the International Blues Challenges, in Memphis Tennessee. Not knowing that would be the beginning of a list of band competitions to come.
In 2013, the band went to the International Blues Challenge again, where they made it to the Semi Finals. In 2014, the band made it to the Finals out of 235 Band World wide.

The band is touring and has been on numerous festivals. DieDra has headed lined Blues Festivals as far as West Virginia, Linden,Texas and Chattanooga Tn. The list of festivals are: Old School and Blues Festival in Huntsville, Al for five years in a row, 2010 T-Bone Walker Festival, 2010 Johnny Shines Blues Festival, 2011 Fun Monday Festival in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, 2013 Springing the Blues Festival in Jacksonville Beach, Fl, just to name a few.

As all bands going through a change of members, It has taken several years to get the right mix.
