Casho (born Tony Turner Jr on January 27th, 1997) is an American Rapper and Video Director. Casho was born in the small town of Osceola, AR, where he first discovered his passion for music. Casho would sit and listen in as his uncle would rap over beats and knew at a very young age that he would persue a career in music.
Casho later relocated to Sioux City, Iowa at the age of 5. Here, he was able to experience auditioning for, and acting in lead roles of major school plays, where he was revered and was even featured in the city newspaper. Casho was no longer a stranger to the spotlight and enjoyed performing in the public eye. A talented young man, Casho also enjoyed basketball and played for the school sports team.
Soon later, at the age of 8, Casho would relocate once more to the city which he grew up and currently calls home, Houston, TX. By the 6th grade, Casho continued playing basketball and even took upon himself to learn to play the saxophone. He also met friends with the same ambition of starting a rap career. He soon recorded a his version over the instrumental of Drake’s hit “Energy”. Among one of his fellow athletes, was Marlii North. Casho would move on to record his first single “F*ck it up” featuring Marlii North. Together they created a buzz peaking over 1k views on YouTube.
As many stars were emerging from the city of Houston, Casho knew he had to up the ante and improve his quality of both his sound and visuals.
He soon met Mickey Bass, a neighborhood friend who also was pursuing a career in managing artists and producing music. Together, they were able to create “Speed Race” one of Casho’s most iconic hit singles.
Casho’s discography is continuously growing with a plethora of many different sounds. Casho plans many new projects in the near future.
