Hailing from the streets of Compton California comes the self-proclaimed, “NEXT BEST THING”. His name is 'Chase'. The ex-street corner hustler, turned to music after his meeting with, at that time, future Interscope recording artist, Spit Fiya. Spit Fiya took on the task of helping Chase transform his natural freestyle ability into creative song writing. After graduating high school, and a brief attendance at a local junior college, Chase came to the realization that he did indeed possess a talent for song writing. He decided to take his craft to the next level. That next level would be to display his ability. He began so by recording mix tapes with up and coming artist such as Scan on the “Loud and Clear” mix tape, hosted by D.J. Vlad the Butcher. Prior to that feature, Chase was invited by close friend, Kevin Reed, to display his talent for, at that time, an emerging star named The Game. He was highly impressed by Chase and his raw talent. After his “hood audition”, The Game introduced Chase to Big Fase Hundred, The Game's older brother, among others, and received enthusiastic thumbs up in acceptance of his skill. That same day, Chase was invited to join The Game's imprint of The Black Wall Street. During his brief partnership with The Game, Chase made appearances on projects outside of the camp such as 'Hala the Hustla's', a Gain Green Records production, 'The Buzz 3', Scan's 'Ground Up Live', and a number of other projects by local artists. Chase was invited by Kevin Reed to assist him in song writing for his own project. Chase also assisted Brazil Street with song writing and was further invited to become a member of a new development called Brazil Street Records, lead by Big Fase Hundred. Chase appeared on The Game's ex-protégé, Yung Life's solo mix tape 'Compton Life'. He also appeared on the follow up project titled 'Brazil Street Hustlas', which debuted the talents of the entire Brazil Street Records roster. After great success and praise from the internet and the streets, Chase began to record his solo projects. Now a solo artist, Chase looks to redefine hip hop with his own cunning, politically laced, and versatile flow. You've been warned. Read more on Last.fm.
