Frequent collaborators Fabiana Palladino and Jai Paul, both members of the Paul Institute, released the single "I Care" in November 2023 after teasing it for two years. The song is the lead single to Fabiana's debut album. The duo has previously worked together on the songs "Mystery" (2017), "Shimmer" (2018), "Do You Love Her Now" (2019), and "Waiting" (2020).
