Takero OGATA is a Japanese composer/percussion player.

After playing for Nobukazu TAKEMURA and Spiritual Vibes as a percussionist, OGATA released 3 albums, “Quiet Will”(1999), “Perpetual Motion”(2003) and “Texture”(2005). One of his track "Omnipresence" was picked up for the compilation "Modal Soul Classics" by Nujabes. (R.I.P.)

OGATA also released the album “Mundo Novo”(2006) under the same name "Mundo Novo".
