Kiki Bohemia and Sicker Man have been working together on stage and in the studio for several years now, expanding their means of musical expressiveness by exploring different varieties of experimental music, from doom metal to site-specific composition. Following Pauline Oliveros’ concept of Deep Listening as a radical form of activism and Tony Conrad’s idea that minimal music requires maximum expression, they develop their unique and distinctive spectrum of sound. Relaxed, roaming, holding on to nothing, letting itself be, as if of its own accord. An intimate approach to composing, relying entirely on the associative powers of their music, leading to the creation of a visceral sonic language of its own.

In 2020, during the Covid pandemic, they recorded a series of 55 improvisation sessions at home and published it as CLEANSING DRONES FOR LOCKDOWN HOMES on Bandcamp in June 2021.

Their first EP Waiting for Wood was released in November 2022.

Sicker Man is the artist's name of Tobias Vethake. His main instrument and focal point of his artistic creation is the electric cello, which he processes and modulates to transfer his artistic visions into reality.
