I Tried Voodoo Once Lyrics

Hold your tounges everyone of you,
suspend your thoughts,
bring forth the lies,
LIES LIES LIES LIES,
choke on dead hope,
within this room I'll end it all,
fade out to black,
embrace the end,
separation embrace,
separation the end,
the winter wind exposes all,
this will be the first day of forever,
flee this heartache,
I will never be free of your hex,
bring her death, she's falling faster
bring her death slowly,
my heart still beats beyond this wreck,
her perfume in my nostrils fades away,
bring her back,
angels' faces once reminded me of you,
but now you remain forever in black,
escape your voice, escape your voice, bring her death, bring her death,
hold your tounges everyone of you.

From a Second Story Window were a progressive metalcore band formed in 2002, from the Ohio/Pennsylvania border area in the United States of America. They were characterized by the use of complex rhythms, strange keys, and dual types of vocals (both high black metal screams and low death metal growls). Their live show was intense, and usually was noted by brilliant white lights and a near possessed stage presence, fronted by Will Jackson. The band has been quoted as saying "Simply put, we are trying to create music for attention-deficit people", and this is evident by the frantic changes and lack of repitition in their songs. Their Latest album utilised all of these qualities but also intergrated some melodic guitar and singing further adding to the complexity of their sound. The band broke up in 2008.

They were signed to Blackmarket Activities, an imprint of Metal Blade Records.
