At twenty-three, she has completed a full marathon, written and directed a musical, been the coordinator of a hip-hop dance team, worked on Capitol Hill, served in AmeriCorps, and traveled to various countries around the world all of which contribute to her unique perspective as a singer/songwriter.

Citing jazz standards as a main influence, Lily Bee aims to redefine jazz for a younger generation of listeners. Daydream at Midnight's nostalgic, romantic leanings somehow make jazz relevant and palatable to contemporary ears. The album features those conventional and unconventional to the songwriter regimen - ranging from guitar, piano, bass, and percussion to ukulele, trumpet, trombone, and cello. The organic sound of the album is perfect for an introspective day and subliminally encourages you to take another look at life, on the bright side.
