The Story of Lil $oulja69 – A Full Biography
Born on December 10, 2009, Lil $oulja69 (formerly known as NerdyKing10) began his journey surrounded by music. His father, Rome Sweetz, was part of the underground rap group Nu Galaxii, and Lil $oulja69 would often watch them make music in the studio when he was younger. He was just a kid, but he already knew he loved music. He used to beatbox in school, feeling a natural rhythm in his chest before he ever touched a mic.
As he grew older, he got into darker underground music. He was heavily inspired by Luci4 (aka Axxturel), Sigilkore, and Sematary. His favorite track was Creepin Thru Tha Woods. That sound, haunted, emotional, and raw, resonated with him deeply.
At age 13, he made his first song, “Money in the Back,” on BandLab under the name NerdyKing10. It was a simple start, but it lit the fire. Around the same time, his best friend Malik—who had been his friend before the music—joined in the creative wave. They started making joke diss tracks, clowning on a 19-year-old named Javon Foster who made a diss track on them. This led to the release of “Javon Diss Track Ft. Malik” on BandLab and YouTube.
That was the beginning.

Evil Empire is Born
After releasing more diss tracks like “Sofia Diss Track Liar” and “Asher Diss Track,” Lil $oulja69 and Malik began calling themselves Evil Empire, inspired by a random YouTube tag that said “EVIL EMPIRE.” They didn’t know at first that the name was used by another group, but to them, it meant something personal. It wasn’t just about music—it was about friendship.
Later on, they invited people like Chainsmokerr and Larry to join the group. Together, they dropped more diss tracks including:
• “Javon Diss Track 2”
• “Javon Diss Track 3”
• “Javon Diss Track 4 Ft. 7Malik”
• And “Javon is a Bitch Ft. 7Malik and Chainsmokerr”
This led to the first album: EV!L EMPIR3.
They weren’t just joking anymore. The music was getting a little bit serious.
⸻
He also made “D3ATH HOUSE Ft. 7Malik” with Malik—one of their most serious tracks.
But after that, Malik stepped away from the group to pursue his religious beliefs and become Muslim. He didn’t leave on bad terms. In fact, Malik told Lil $oulja69 not to quit music. His words were direct: “Don’t quit, nigga.” That hit deep.

The New Era – Slaughter Boyz
After Malik’s departure, it was just Lil $oulja69 and SplitTorsos, a SoundCloud rapper he connected with. The two made “Benadryl”, “Chainsaw Massacre”, and “SOULSNATCHERS” together and became close friends.
Eventually, Lil $oulja69 also met Azrael and Raist Forest, two other artists doing Haunted Mound-style music. They weren’t found in a random group chat—he personally reached out, worked hard, and built relationships over time. He also met another member named Trex and made one beat with him.
Together, they made a full project:
The Slaughter Boy Mixtape, with:
• 2 songs with Azrael
• 2 songs with SplitTorsos
• 1 song with Raist Forest
• 1 beat with Trex
• 4 solo tracks
• And the single “Chainsaw Massacre 2 Ft. SplitTorsos”
Then came a turning point.
The Haunted Mound subreddit found them and started making fun of them, calling them Sematary clones. But instead of breaking him, it got him famous. The hate brought attention.
Still, people kept saying they stole the “Evil Empire” name. That’s when he made a decision:
He rebranded the group to “Slaughter Boyz”—not because he had to, but because he wanted it to be original. People didn’t understand the real lore behind the Evil Empire name. It wasn’t stolen—it was born out of a bond between him and Malik, long before anyone cared.

This was never just about music. It started from friendship.
