Belfast based composer and producer Amerik didn’t expect to become the centre of the stage. Normally found in the background playing bass for some of Northern Ireland’s best exports such as Gareth Dunlop, Blue Americans, In Case of Fire and Rams Pocket Radio, Adam Booth took a leap of faith by releasing his own music under the pseudonym throughout 2018/2019. The collection of ambient and emotive symphony style tracks caught the attention of BBC Radio Ulster and Nialler9.

Amerik now brings the Bouquet EP, a collaborative project featuring four of the best NI songwriters including Gareth Dunlop. Amerik has stepped out once again to deliver this phase of his project.

‘Olive’ is the first single to be released from the EP which features the unmistakable vocals of Gareth Dunlop. A marriage of anthemic sounds and deeply personal introspective lyricism, that self reflection invites the listener to join in on the emotional excavation that Dunlop has so courageously pursued. Delicately fusing rich synths and chordal progressions, ‘Olive’ proves to be a rousing showcase of Amerik’s masterful production.

The ‘Bouquet’ EP is set to be released for April 2021.
