Thy Arts Is Murder are a deathcore/death metal band that formed in Sydney, Australia in 2006. They have released four full-length albums and three EPs to date. Their latest album Dear Desolation was released on August 18, 2017 through Nuclear Blast Records. Their second album Hate debuted at no. 35 on the ARIA Charts, making them the first extreme metal band to ever reach the Top 40 of this chart, while Holy War debuted at no. 7, the highest-ever position for an Australian extreme metal act.
